Vice President Joe Biden

The greatest part of my job was the variety of people I covered. Beyond President Obama and First Lady Michelle  I occassionally got to cover Vice President Joe Biden and his wife, Dr. Jill Biden, whenever David Leinemann, the VP photographer, took time off or couldn't make the coverage. As a friend and co-worker once said "You better watch out if the VP gets his Joe-mentum going." Which meant the Vice President would stay until he shook every hand at an event or went out of his way to personally connect with someone he just met. Always kept the Secret Service and staff guessing what he was going to do next.
